Ricasoli is the most representative wine producer in the Chianti Classico area. With its gentle hills, velvety valleys and thick woodlands of oaks and chestnuts, the 1,200 hectares of property include almost 240 hectares of vineyards and 26 of olive groves in a continuous succession of colors and hues around the Brolio Castle, which is located near Gaiole in Chianti. The history of the Ricasoli family has been linked to wine since 1141, when they already possessed Brolio Castle. Since 1993, Baron Francesco Ricasoli has been leading the company in innovative challenges with the deepest respect for his renowned ancestors who have made this territory great, Bettino Ricasoli first and foremost. The grounds of Brolio castle and the Wine Shop are open for visits and tastings, but you can also book one of our guided tours and enjoy a memorable experience filled with history, wines and art. At Osteria di Brolio, our restaurant, traditional dishes can be found alongside innovative ones, both made with Tuscan products only. For more information and bookings, please visit our website.
