In Capalbio, in the lush Tuscan countryside , bathed in sunlight and blassed by the closeness to the sea, in the area known as La Maremma, once a land know for its bandits but more importantly a fertile and flourishing land, Il Ponte società agricola has always sought to follow the laws of nature and treat it with caring and expert hands. The estate features two main crops, wine grapes and olives, and it is home to an orchard; there is also room for raising livestock. The first vineyard, about 2,5 hectares in size, produces Ansonica DOC; later more vineyards were added Sangiovese, Aleatico, Cabernaut Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot and Alicante grapes are grown, all in the proportions and quantities set by the Capalbio DOC and Tuscan IGT regulations. Il Ponte seeks to offer products combining familiarity and experience with the land and quality service: all this through traditional care supported by the must moderd agricotural techniques. Commitment, exstensive experiece attention to the cycles of nature and to the production of its fruits make this vineyard a real gem in an area that is so rich history, beauty and flavours.

– From Milano: “Highway of the Sun” exit Parma/La Spezia and exit to Rosignano, take street Aurelia until to Capalbio km 500
On the road to Capalbio turn right towards Carige Alta, when you reach the small square turn right and proceed for 500 meters and turn left: Strada Carige Alta, 15
