Querciamatta is a family, a world, a passion, a sharing of ideas and feelings.
Ours is an ambitious project in continuous development, driven by the genuine enthusiasm of the people who live Querciamatta every day.
A magical place, found almost by chance and reinvented with courage and a touch of extravagance.
The “borgo” is the heart of the estate, the 4 buildings – each with its own vocation – express its character and personality, olive groves and vineyards are its soul… and everything revolves around them and us.
Located in the green hills of Monsummano Terme, next to the Montecatini Golf Club, we enjoy spectacular views of the entire Valdinievole. From here you fall in love with the sunsets that dye the sky red-orange and define the silhouette of nearby Montevettolini and Monsummano Alto.
Our area is voted to the cultivation of olive trees but has no known terroir for wine. Our greatest challenge is to produce a wine that tells Querciamatta in a hostile land with volcanic soils.
We currently have two labels, red “D” and “Rosé,” both pure Sangiovese. But the future is just around the corner and we have already started with the planting of new vines: Cabernet Franc, Fogliatonda, a new clone of Sangiovese. But that’s not all yet..
“Anno Zero” is our collection of organic extra virgin olive oils exclusively produced from our olives. The faces and characters: IGP Toscano Organic, Monocultivar Leccino, 100% Italian Organic and 100% Italian.
At Querciamatta we embrace a sustainable approach by growing organically while respecting the environment, keeping agriculture as close to the traditional system as possible, but with an innovative spirit.
Wine, oil but … also events and experiences.
During the summer season – from April to September – Wednesdays at Querciamatta is glamHour, the dinner-aperitif with chef’s dishes, wine, cocktails and DJ set.
For the winter period we offer Dinner D’Élite. Live Cooking dinners with exceptional chefs who – in the intimate setting of our tasting room – create on the spot gourmet dishes finely paired with our wines and oils. In addition to tasting the menu chosen for the evening, diners have the opportunity to interact directly with the chefs to discover the tricks behind the stove and admire their skills.
Living Dinner D’élite means experiencing a new sociability and savoring the taste of conviviality. Guests, seated around one large table of up to 10 people, also share the evening with people they met on the spot.
At Querciamatta, tasting is an art, a form of sharing-it’s Acino & Oliva.
Throughout the year it is possible to visit our estate by reservation and taste our products to savor the aromas and identify all the nuances of our land.
