Event: From the Etruscans of Cetamura del Chianti to Tuscan bread

The long and fascinating journey into the world of wine, in this corner of Chianti, has very ancient roots, preceding the foundation (11th century) of Badia a Coltibuono. The Etruscans of the nearby village of Cetamura del Chianti already practiced viticulture. An advanced people who also knew the basic practices of bread making. During the visit to the historic cellars and the former monastic complex it will be possible to discover the history of the Etruscans of Cetamura and taste two of the company’s wines, accompanied by typical bread from Badia a Coltibuono
