It was 1998 when the dream of Tenuta Casadei began, a project born with the very specific objective of producing wines of international character in a place, the upper Maremma, with particularly favorable geological and climatic characteristics. An idea that knows no boundaries, as do our owners: a Tuscan and a Californian, two men of wine. Two citizens of the world who speak only one language: that of wine. Some good wine.
Tenuta Casadei is a BioIntegral winery: our agronomic philosophy includes a new concept of ethical agriculture that considers environmental protection the essential requirement for the future. What do we mean by “Biointegral”?

• Limit human intervention on the plant.

• Feed the soil and not the plant.
• Adhere to the Ecosystem Vitality Index, monitoring the vitality of flora and fauna, the degree of fertility and the level of organic substances in the soil.
• Conceive wine as a natural alcoholic beverage resulting from the partial or total fermentation of grapes. Without containing anything else.
